Learn to make scarves, mittens, and slippers from discarded or thrifted jeans and sweaters! These easy crafts keep kids warm through the winter! Leslie Science & Nature Center’s (Ann Arbor) young visitors sometimes arrive not-quite prepared for the weather, so they’ll waive the registration fee if you make and donate one item for their use – or bring outerwear the kids you know have outgrown, and they’ll still waive the fee! All materials provided.
