Recycled Crafts To Keep Kids Warm

Recycled Crafts To Keep Kids Warm

Learn to make scarves, mittens, and slippers from discarded or thrifted jeans and sweaters! These easy crafts keep kids warm through the winter! Leslie Science & Nature Center’s (Ann Arbor) young visitors sometimes arrive not-quite prepared for the weather, so they’ll waive the registration fee if you make and donate one item for their use – or bring outerwear the kids you know have outgrown, and they’ll still waive the fee! All materials provided.

Thursday, December 5, 2013 – 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Ages: All ages
6:30-8:30 p.m.
$5/individual, free with donation of used/outgrown/crafted cold-weather items for kids.
