Keep those little kid hands busy with this fun craft! Best of all, you probably already have these items around the house, so no special trip to the craft store.
These no-sew felt coasters are so inexpensive that your children can make different sets for different holidays or parties. We used some scrap monkey-themed felt in this example because – well, what’s more fun than monkeys?!?!?!
- 2 Pieces of felt, color of choice
- Hot glue gun
- Hot glue
- Rik rack, color of choice
Step 1: Cut felt into a 4 ½ “ x 4 ½ inch square. Repeat until you have 8 squares.
Step 2: Cut out 4 pieces of batting measuring 4” x 4” each.
Step 3: Using the hot glue gun glue one piece of batting to one piece of felt, repeat until you have 4 felt/batting pieces.
Step 4: Hot glue the remaining 4 pieces of felt to the top of the batting creating a felt-batting-felt sandwich.
Step 5: Hot glue rik rack to the edge of the coaster, covering the raw edges. Repeat on each coaster.
That’s it! 5 supply items and 5 steps – you’re done!
